I generally stick to green and white teas. This is hands down one of, if not the, best black tea I’ve ever had. It steeps out mellow and sweet, almost masquerading as an Oolong in color. It looks beautiful in my Wall mug! I had to buy a second batch before it runs out for the season!
This tea is beautiful to look at, lots of gold fuzzy curled leaf, opens beautifully to large pieces of leaf in the pot. Brews a perfect red tan that is nice and clear. The flavor is good and a very traditional red/black tea, but isn't really exceptional or out of the ordinary compared to the red/black teas from Asia. While it isn't an extremely complex tea it is a comfortable flavor and a perfect tea if you drink Irish Breakfast or English Breakfast and want something to try drinking neat but that will still be familiar.
My brewing method has been a 140ml pot with off the boil water and a healthy heaping teaspoon of leaf. Infusion time starting at 20 sec and increasing to a minute towards the end of the 500ml of prepared water. I'm getting at least 5 good steeps and 500ml of tea this way.
This mug makes it so easy and convenient to deink my loose leaf tea at my desk. It also cleans up easily and so far no staining.
I usually only drink green or white teas so I wasn't sure about trying this one. I was pleasantly surprised by it's light and slightly sweet taste. I'm really enjoying this tea!
These teabags are free of Plastic and amazingly tasty. Each teabag is consistently delicious. Other tabags can sometimes taste old or off but this tea is consistently awesome.
Nepal tea carries a nice selection of loose leaf teas, and the 3 that I purchased have proved to be subtly flavorful. My only mild complaint would be the somewhat high price, but perhaps justified by the product quality.
I had previously tried and loved the Shangri-La Oolong for its almost honey-like sweetness. The Farmer's Green is very similar, except a green tea. It is a lovely, mellow, sweet green - it's like drinking a breezy summer day in the shade. Having sampled the Ganesha Green and the Kanchanjangha Verde, Farmer's Green is definitely my favorite of the Nepal Tea greens. Not as strong as the Ganesha, perhaps, but overall I like the sweet, leafy flavor better on the Farmer's Green.
Absolutely love Everest Black Tea! So flavorful and satisfying The staff was so informative and enthusiastic.
We bought a pound
The steeping and boling was fantastic .... Bravo
Honey taste all the way through
As you fill your tea infuser you see the lovely long gray and green leaves mingled with the white buds of the tea plant. But the best part of the experience is yet to come as your pour water over the tea and the rich earthly yet delicate aroma rise from the leaves. Then you are ready to sit quietly and actually experience the tea and think about The mountains of Nepal.
This is black tea that looks like oolong in its complexion. The aroma is beautiful and the flavors exquisite. It is definitely my favorite black tea. I also liked the little card in the box that pictures the tea maker for us. It gives it a personal touch, and it is very good marketing. When I drink the tea, I see Chandra smiling about my enjoyment.
The First Flush Black 2024 is the best Darjeeling I’ve had. And I’ve discovered some new blacks to order (e.g., Kumari Gold) thanks to the generous samples included with my order. Thank you.
This even amazed my family who drink far less tea than me. You can tell the difference in the quality, freshness and flavor. Well worth the upgrade and it lasts.
The glass bottle is heavy, the color of the syrup is a very unappetizing, after trying it twice and finding it as unappetizing as it looks I threw it away and went back to regular sugar!
This is a lovely, smooth, light tasting black tea. It is like a Darjeeling, but with a subtle black tea flavor. Really love it!! These Nepal Collective teas are the only ones that don't ever give me migraines, so I'm back to tea drinking.
I tried this at the World Tea Expo and ordered some to enjoy at home. Highly recommend!
